Seattle, WA – March 12, 2024 – Defined.ai, the world’s largest Ethical AI Marketplace, is proud to announce its inclusion in the World Economic Forum‘s Innovator Communities – a group of the world’s most promising startups and scaleups at the forefront of technological and business model innovation. Comprising three sub-communities – the Technology Pioneers, Global Innovators and Unicorns – the Innovator Communities accompany startups along their growth journey. The World Economic Forum provides the sub-communities with a platform to engage with public- and private-sector leaders and to contribute new solutions to overcome current crises and build future resiliency.
Previously known as DefinedCrowd, Defined.ai was part of the 2021 Technology Pioneers cohort, a group of 100 startups from around the world involved in the design, development and deployment of new technologies and innovations. By being part of this community, a two-year journey of engaging in the Forum’s initiatives, activities and events began, bringing cutting-edge insights and fresh thinking to critical global discussions.
Now, Defined.ai has joined the Global Innovators Community, an invitation-only group of the world’s most promising growth-stage companies that are at the forefront of disruption and innovation in their industries.
“I’m thrilled to have graduated from Tech Pioneer to Global Innovator,” states Dr. Daniela Braga, Founder and CEO of Defined.ai. “I can’t wait to bring my company’s mission to the table in regard to AI and governance, policymaking, guardrails and Ethical AI.”
Companies invited to join the Innovator Communities have the opportunity to engage with initiatives, partners, and a global network of centres to help define the global agenda on critical issues. As part of this partnership, Defined.ai will engage with the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), contributing to initiatives that drive positive impact globally.
Within the C4IR, Defined.ai will work closely with the AI Governance Alliance – a pioneering multi-stakeholder initiative that unites industry leaders, governments, academic institutions, and civil society organizations, to champion responsible global design and release of transparent and inclusive AI systems.
With this partnership, Defined.ai will help shape the future of AI governance, foster innovation, and ensure that the potential of AI is harnessed for the betterment of society while upholding ethical considerations and inclusivity at every step.
