Defined.ai Selected As One Of Europe’s Hottest Scale-Ups

DefinedCrowd is honored to have been selected as one of Europe’s hottest scale-ups by Ayden and TNW’s annual Tech5 competition.

Every year, Ayden and TNW’s Tech5 panel carefully evaluates the performance, growth, and potential of hundreds of technology scale-ups operating throughout Europe. Only five of the very best from each country are selected to join the prestigious Tech5 community – a network of investors, experts, influencers, and companies that are having a profound effect on the tech industry.

This year, DefinedCrowd was recognized as one of the five best scale-ups in Portugal, securing our place among the brightest stars in the Tech5 community. Criteria for selection include notable investment rounds, team growth, social impact and media coverage. We will celebrate the selection along with other members at Founders Day on June 17th, an event at the TNW Conference in Amsterdam which brings together 300 Tech5 alumni, investors, entrepreneurs, global press and top-tier investors.

In a continent teeming with tech startups and scale-ups, to be recognized as one of the most promising is no mean feat. And it’s another incredible accomplishment to add to our string of successive achievements: in 2019 we featured in CB Insights’ AI 100; in WIRED’s 100 hottest startups; and were selected as one of Forbes’ 50 most promising Artificial Intelligence Companies.

“We are extremely proud to receive this accolade and to take our place among such an esteemed group of scale-ups,” said DefinedCrowd Founder and CEO Daniela Braga. “For us, it’s recognition of our vision and of our meaningful impact on the world of AI.”

The Tech5 selection is a fantastic start to what promises to be another great year for DefinedCrowd. If you’d like to join us on this exciting journey, have a look at our careers page. We are hiring globally!
